I can understand why she's so snake-like. Having you're entire worldview shattered as a facade can change a person so seeing the embodiment of what she tried to be in a near replica of her idol would make her have her doubts.

There's a reason why I like her so much as the antagonist, simply because you have no idea what going on with her, she's 2 steps ahead playing everyone for her own sick kicks and I enjoy that dynamic of her character. You don't know if she is genuine or not.

Atleast the author is not trying to coax the readers to sympathize with her using that flashback. She just owned that she's a snake through and through, and that honesty deserves some kind of recognition.

At least from my experience, most people are like that so, it's just normal IMO. When they see someone that's too "perfect" it's like a mirror that forces them to reflect on their own self. And that may hurt so much that they want to prove that person isn't perfect, ruining their life, even if they got nothing to do with their mental issues. C'est la vie I guess. Still, I believe she can be converted by Shizuka \o/
