Today I learned from searching for it that a "dorama" is a J-drama TV show. From the context of the last two words of the quoted post it is apparently also a K-drama.Thinking better and adding with I said before.
I really believe almost everyone can get better as a person. People having bad behavior, it's not something black and white.
We can see that for most of her life she kind of feels guilty for being like that, but for some reason she has a hard time not being like that.
Generally speaking, this represents some sort of psychological or psychiatric issue (maybe both). The kind of stuff that could be avoided with treatment, but we all know that therapy don't exist in fiction and thus, we will depend on the protagonists to do this job.
(There was a dorama with an antagonist that was horrible, in the end she tried to have a psychiatric treatment... At the USA. After that we always joke that any dorama character that needs therapy will go to the USA because there is none in South Korea)
Basically a "too good to be true" situation here, I kinda get her tho, everyone has some type of darkness in them, big or smallEven so, I think I understand it.
She was comforted by thinking that an ideal didn't exist, because she didn't think it was actually possible. She totally should've tried, but she didn't (seemingly). Now that she's looking at one of her ideals, she can't believe it and wants to see the flaws Kusunoki has.
I really don't see what shes done that a normal middle / highschooler wouldn't have. On top of that looking at anyone's thought process in every day life would make them look like an asshole. You need genuine introspection if you believe these arent normal human thoughts.y'all on some deep copium. "its not that deep"
story then proceeds to try to explain why she's an asshole
lol
I think it was more "I found her weakness" because of the overreaction to the notion that Kusunoki could like Keisuke. Don't get me wrong, she will fall for Keisuke too because of course she will.Anyone else feeling the obvious harem hook with her "relieved" smile when Shizuka said she wasn't interested romantically? Don't really want this to go harem route, it's been a really fun drama so far with Hebikawa.
IMO it's more likely she'll pretend to in order to fuck with Kusunoki and entice Keisuke. After breaking any bond between them she'd drop Keisuke like a hot potato.Everyone hating on Hebikawa right now, but I think her character motivation of chasing an ideal girl opens the door for redemption, and Kusunoki will bring it.

What kind of sociopath were you in middle school.I got no clue why this comment section has such a huge hate boner for this girl. she pulled one practical joke that every middle schooler has done before its not that deep.
It is not normal to manipulate others to get what you want in that way, or use others and then insult them behind their backs. Plenty of people like that exist, but that does not set the bar for healthy or acceptable behavior. It's just emblematic of the ugliness humans are capable of. Some kids do that, yes. But not all, hell not even most. Hebikawa represents a particularly unpleasant person, with a particularly rank and self absorbed motive.I really don't see what shes done that a normal middle / highschooler wouldn't have. i feel like lack of life experience is whats causing this strange reaction to whats happening. many times in school you’d see someone say “x likes you” then you’d look at someone who's obviously embarrassed and not interested in you. its a pretty simple prank on two people and really isn’t that big of a deal. What kind of sociopath were you in middle school.
i dont get how you can say “its not normal” then say plenty of people like that exist. I do agree it is bot healthy and not acceptable, i never say it was. I hope she grows out of it with the help of the others in the cast. however, that does not stop me from thinking the reaction to her character is completely overblown and irrational. It is not normal to manipulate others to get what you want in that way, or use others and then insult them behind their backs. Lol I was thinking the author was gonna go the redemption arc when they started this shit with hebikawa, but after this chapter it can honestly go both ways.Wonder which route the author will go with Hebikawa, redemption or total bitch...
Let's vote! Give this comment a meguuusad if you want/expect redemption, angry for total bitch, drink if you have a thing for feet.
Personally, I'm more of an armpit guy, and this series is severely lacking in wakis, so I'll go with "total bitch".
Edit: team redemption started slow but has now overtaken team angry boys. Maybe there's still hope for our little snake lady.
But feet is still the clear leader. You degenerates.
