To be fair without snek we wouldn't have that emotional aspect. And her design is great for an antagonist. That said, I think I agree with @Tiny_Miney that it could be good to see her mindbroken with kindness, but I don't want for her to end with male MC. Let her fall in love and then, as the main couple hit if off, realize that in his life she's also just a passing visitor, not the destined person. Just like she mocked the MC for falling in love with her back in middle school, when she was just using him. It would be properly karmic way of snek getting fixed.
