Pot calling the kettle grey."To think that she'd eat a lantern plant."
She's not denying eventually."Frogs... I won't be having those any time soon."
You don't know how kids act, do you?"What do you mean good job? All he had to do was just sit quietly."
You do realise who you're talking to, right?"You do realise you're a hostage, right?"
She's a drug addict without the drug addict part.Mao just happy being a hostage if it means medical info is my favorite gag. She just loves knowledge lmao
Doubt.IRL modern Mao Mao would've died a methhead
Why? What did he do?“If it has four legs and it is not a chair, if it has got two wings and it flies but is not an aeroplane, and if it swims and it is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it.” - Prince Philip.
I fucking hate that kid in the novel (Shi Sui's little brother), the more screen time he gets, the more i dread that in the manga he will be the same.

Relationship tree is a good idea, though I might put it at the end of the chapter with the plant trivia instead of the beginning.
I would prefer it if the family tree was at the end of the chapter rather than the start. I’d rather be confused and have to reread with the reminder than be spoiled on some relationship or character appearance.
Showing relationships is good as long as it doesn't spoil a suddenly appearing character.
I do like the relationship tree idea, I don't like it being in the front especially if it contains the relevant characters of the current chapter.
I would even go so far as to say having a full relationship tree up to the current chapter would be nice to have.
Having the tree at the end would be better imo. That way, Newly introduced characters could be included in the tree without any spoilers.
It's not so much that the relationship is a spoiler (but that too), but that if you have the chart at the beginning it shows what characters will appear in the chapter. Or more specifically, what relationships will be relevant for the chapter. Most of the time that's not going to be an issue, though. The motivation behind having the relationship at the front is to act as a reminder of the relationships that we currently know of before that chapter (so relationships established during the chapter are not shown on the relationship chart before the chapter — for those of you that have the concern of relationships being spoiled before they're actually revealed). This also means that if a relationship hasn't explicitly been established before the chapter, we won't show the relationship there so as to not spoil it.
Yeah, I completely forgot about the fact that putting it in the front kinda spoils character appearances for the chapter when doing this last night. It's not so much that the relationship is a spoiler (but that too), but that if you have the chart at the beginning it shows what characters will appear in the chapter. Though this isn't for me personally for this manga, just my taste overall when it comes to spoilers. For this story I've read the WN up to a point.
