So it’d be Generic Wishfulfillment Isekai #237?
It would be realistic, wish fulfillment or not.

Or would you deliberately do things you dislike, or even stay away from women, including your own maid because you believe the story could lead to a bad end, even if it is absolutely unrealistic?
Seems awfully illogical, the story changed the moment he stopped acting like that useless fat pig, going out of his way to stay away from all women and hiding his actual abilities to stay a mob as a dukes son is just nonesense.
It may be even more harmful to himself, since the children of dukes can't be mobs.

If he held back the kid wouldnt fly so far
You cant throw somebody across the room while holding back
Its the same force
They thought he could, and if it was more a push that a full powered Bruce Lee kick it'd be possible. He just caught the full power Bruce kick.

I kind of hate the "to escape fate, I must become a mob!" trope too. Especially when they do everything but fade into the background when something comes up.

However, it can be possible even with a duke's son. Just be generic and average, and to avoid the flags, just.. don't be an asshole. But again, they still find some way to either stand out, or at least appear to be assholes.

A dukes son being generic and average is in of itself a huge flag...
It could trigger disownment, assassionation attempts and guarantees being looked down upon by the whole noble body and even many commoners.

A commoner being average okay, a dukes son being average unforgiveable! The disgrace of the nation! On the pyre, with him!

Hard to play mob when you're already the disgrace of the kingdom just for being average.

Average for a duke, I mean. What exactly would the son of a duke have to do? Go to balls, do okay in classes, seem even remotely fit, carry a conversation with nobility, and learn to take over the dukedom (if he's even next in line for it, I've kind of forgotten the earlier chapters).

Also the main thing, don't be an asshole. Then he'd fit in with all the other dukes in all the other kingdoms that we never hear about in these types of stories.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant to address this point:

He's not a disgrace for being average, he's a disgrace for being a scummy gRapist.

The duke rank is the second highest right after king ignoring the extremely rare arch-duke rank, as such is the duke like royality one in the role of being a example to other nobles as such are their children expected to be better than others and if not will as mentionioned in my comment above earn mocking and various troubles from multiple sources.
So it's impossible, for someone that's in the spotlight simply for his families rank to play mob.
Not to mention it's counter productive because it may end up dragging you even more into the spotlight just in a negative sense with many demerits as the cherry on top.

For the son of a baron it's fine to be average in being noble. For the son of duke it's not.

For example if the disgusting pig was competent, smart and strong then even if he was a "scummy rapist" the duke would have protected him, except if he laid his hands on nobility of higher rank or too many high ranked ones naturally. (Which he naturally wouldn't if he was smart and competent.)

Thanks! Well, spica's updated in the meantime too but no rush

I imagine that 's' rank guy goes under a diff name if not a hidden route/diff look when he's out in public as a "Top adventurer"/hero versus looking like a 'bum' when he claims to be d rank or so
Those maids sure did gossip a lot in town for a random adventurer to know all that.
Well he did have a reputation beforehand so i imagine the maids were blowing off steam/venting about him (tho i imagine publicly trash talking a noble, even if he's still someone's son would prolly have backlash) and then suddenly talking about a change i imagine some ppl would be suspicious

At least Enrique doesn't think he's being 'mind controled' or some kinda replacement (which is kinda true)

All he has to do is just not confront the "main chara" if they do show up as a protag or so (50/50 on them also being a reincarnator and surprised that "Scumulos" isn't , well, Scum lol) if not train enough to go to the academy or do some secret training/making some magical copy of himself if not "I got special permission to hand pick a team to go exploring dungeons with" or something like that to specifically avoid places where that adventurer would be in unless the maids also have "eminence in shadows" level of misunderstandings and thinking that MC wants to get involved with the main chara unless he commands them "don't make any unnecessary decisions without my permission" or or so

(tho, with him being 'better'/improved unless he had some brother/cousin all along that sparked a rivalry or jealous/tries to kill him, i can imagine his parents giving him a fiance and 'sex before marriage' talk aside i guess that's someone he can relief his urges with if he doesn't have some kinda spell or so to suppress himself as opposed to some 'system'/magical force that'd make him act scummy if he ever came across the NPCs in the game)

Okay, I enjoy this one a ton and it’s headed in a great direction. The issue is, despite each release having so many pages, the plot is moving at a snail’s pace. But given we’re only at “chapter 4,” maybe it’s not moving so slowly…? It just feels like it.

But thank you for the translation as always! I really want to come back to this years down the line and see how it’ll be. Hopefully it doesn’t get axed, it has a decent premise and great art.
