Oh look, another basic-ass teasing rom-com that's light on the "rom" except in the flustered reactions of the "she can't really think of me as anything, I'm just a worthless husk" protagonist.

It seems like I thought of the same joke as everyone else when I first saw the title.

It’s basically a formulaic, pure fluff, 4-6 page teasing romcom. Every chapter, the protagonist is teased by his older sister’s friend in some way after school. She does something cute to give him signals, he blushes and denies liking her, chapter ends.

Because it’s short and episodic, there’s not really any overarching progress or character development. Everything is very static and it’s one of those manga where it could go 300 chapters without breaking the status quo. It’s inoffensive but unsubstantial.

6/10 for me. It’s not bad but there’s also not enough here to really be invested in these characters or their will-they/won’t-they romance, and the comedy falls a little too flat to call this a romcom.

This is, at least in my opinion, something mindlessly enjoyable to read in between updates for better, more satisfying manga.

Edit: While there is incremental story progress, it doesn’t begin until chapter 18. This means nothing really happens for what would be the first 3 volumes of this series, and not much happens within the 32 chapters translated so far, albeit the pacing does pick up slightly. I wanted to be transparent with my review by correcting myself as I read further, but this is still very much glacial pacing when compared to many romance series elsewhere.

Eh, I think it's actually pretty good, it knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything more, the protagonist actually acts like a normal human being, he doesn't freak out over everything while the heroine ic cute and likable, compared to 90 percent of romcom, I really like this one.

"It's the story of a young boy with little social experience and the daughter of his neighbors. Both his parents are often away from home. The neighbor girls parents are away for a year at a time even. She was lonely met with his older sister and she invited her in, neighbor and MC had anime in common she likes to tease little bro for the funny reactions and little bro was getting teased without knowing how to respond. The relationship gradually progresses through the one year in story this comic runs for. They confirm the relationship and the story ends. Male lead also decides he wants to cheris the relationship and not go for sex the second the relationship is confirmed, though girl was really down lmao. Then it ends, it was just the story of a lonely girl and her younger friend getting together slowly for a year. Then it ends. Nice story. Sorry for spoilers."

Not annoying enough to hate it, annoying enough not to call it perfection. It's ok

It's ok, he acts like normal human being in some cases but get's flustered quite a lot and like Darkshade said:

It's usual teasing rom-com (90%- 95% of rom-coms are). It's only saving grace is that it had short chapters and finished quickly. We could compile it to 20ch. of ordinary serialized manga.
If it were like the usual suspects rom-com (+ sometimes harem) with over potentially 100 chapters with 25-40 pages per chapter, reading this would be a chore.

Mangakas are notorious of over stretching their welcome with teasing and virgin energy vibe. And i suspect that is mostly because mangakas have 0 experience in love and partnership and they can only copy from others who made teasing mangas since there are tons source materials.
Real relationship mangas are rare. And those that don't contain over abused and synthetic drama are needles in a haystack.
