Think about it. Only reason Miyoshi went to his place is because he got too drunk to get there by himself. Probably because he was sad drinking all night. And while drunk he kept going "siiiiiigh. Neighbor-san." So Miyoshi is helping him out but mostly she's snooping on his neighbor! I will accept no other explanations.

It was quite rushed. Instead of ending things with a story that could fit properly into the final chapters, the author instead cramed a massive amount of plot into the last five chapters, and unfortunately she also does so in a very clumsy manner. I don't know if it got axed or not - beecause it had pretty good ratings - but it definitely seemed like the author was setting up new story hooks until right up before the point where plot suddenly started wrapping up at lightspeed.

No, they started dating around ch 77/78 IIRC, so around 10 chapters before it ends, there's a lil bit spicy scene but you can't expect anything from a romcom author

I find myself really hoping the friend puts 1 and 1 together and becomes an excellent wingwoman. A shopping trip for outfits would be blush heaven!

Otherwise not particularly interested in this faux triangle setup, at least not without having a bit more of the friend's character fleshed out.
