What do you expect from a Japanese romcom manga, the romcom troupe will always and most of it have spineless MC. It's rare for a romcom manga to have an MC with an actual self-esteem.

One thing that always annoys me about cooking manga is when someone cooks for someone else and they don't give them money, at least for the ingredients. Ingredients are expensive.

Was just gonna say myself, it was great that she's helping him have more confidence to assert himself, but it really rubbed me wrong how she just helped herself to his food on their first meeting and then sorta selfishly starts demanding for more. Like she just ate everything?!? Then that means the poor guy has to go hungry for the day?!?!

I know it's just how this stuff runs in romcoms (if it's not a cooking manga, the person would barge in on the main character in other contexts), but sometimes it just seems rude rather than cute.
