Ppl say write what you know/some ppl find a comfortable niche for them. Not that ppl can't write a variety, but with a release like "you have no human rights" i'm sure if they attempted a normal 'romcom' so to speak, ppl would be waiting for a 'twist'/other shoe to drop unless there are some ppl out there known for 'edgy' stuff so they have to write their 'normal' stories under a penname/alternate persona if they're able to change their art style enough versus working together with someone else
