I imagine the mom would smooth it over if not "we just had a talk about class", but it is pretty common for a 'bully' to also insult ppl's relatives, since unfortunately there have been other manga where classmates/bullies look down on 'single parent households' , although i'm sure she's just gonna continue her plans as always, as opposed to like 'cancelling' on the bro to help be a tutor.

Or even more extreme delusions like “my daughter is a saint who’s kind to everyone!” And either somehow mind break her to where she can “mold” her to be the “ideal friend” like she did with the teacher, maybe by ruining her family life after her friendships that have already broken bc I imagine the other classmates who more or less looked the other way/didn’t participate wouldn’t go outta their way to be polite with her

Makes me wonder just how long she's been doing this even before they moved into that house. Like, she probably already left a trail of social destruction in whatever town they lived in back when Yui was still in elementary. Not gonna be surprised if Karen's older brother basically becomes her regular henchman #3. She already has him wrapped around her finger, after all.

Karen was drawn to that place like a moth to a flame, and dumb as she is, played with herself after getting horny while engaging in voyeurism, instead of leaving immediately after getting some evidence of her own. The biggest bully gets the tables turned on her now that her own dumb friends have had enough of her backstabbing diva personality.

It would be interesting if she was able to do it discreetly b/c (so far) no hints of her having to 'change her name'/use a false identity, even tho the reason why they moved isn't known yet

Also I wonder if 'thieving cat' is a common saying in Japan or a metaphor or so , bc it seems odd versus calling her a 'thief' (tho i guess 'cat burglar' is a phrase in english but i think of that as like some kinda serial robber breaking into multiple houses as opposed to like, a kleptomaniac but searching 'neko dorobu' mentioned something like stealing someone's partner but her being framed as someone who would hit on someone's partners would be interesting too lol)
