I don't remember how the manga history got at that. 3 months time for a chapter is rough.

I fucking hate democracy in fantasy manga. True democracy (as in everyone can vote) has only existed since the 1900s. A generic medieval fantasy should have little to no concept of true equality, it's modern sensibilities imposed on an older setting

New chapter yes! Didn't expect her to take a liking to the prince like that.

sometime i wonder what even the point of make a guy die and reborn as her when he is so quickly adapt to being a female and start flirting with some guy already.
like there is no conflict thought between him being a man before like some gender swap series, make it one of those "is this even need to be isekai?"

For reader bait, of course. Even if you remove that element, the story still works because the issue is not even addressed.

A guy gets magically transformed/reborn into a vampire girl in another world and the intricacies of a fantasy fictional world's fantasy fictional government's fantasy fictional bureaucracy is where you lose your suspension of disbelief?

I mean no disrespect but you're probably a lot of fun at parties.

I sometimes wonder if just so the author can have a female protag yet still be popular with their demographic.

then probably just skip the gender swap and just go for female character in the first place since that still result the same thing.
since one of the thing make gender swap a bit special is the MC doesn't used to the female body so they keep act more like a man than female.

You know it WOULD bother me a lot more that genderswap is being used as bait, but... I remember what it was like being a fan of this genre 20-25 years ago. When adding genderswap to any work that wasn't Ranma pretty much would TANK it. It was treated as pure narrative poison. It feels like a small miracle that Kampfer and Kashimashi got published.

I never thought I'd see the day where it's not only not treated with disgust by general audiences, it's now bait material to get people to read something they would have otherwise passed up. So anytime I feel small irritation at being baited with a female protagonist whose genderswap aspect is a footnote at best, I'm like "wow, what a time to be alive -- my favorite thing is loved enough to be bait now."
