@Kuroageha Full disclosure, while I can read Korean and understand bits of it, I was at a loss for a lot of it. But if you're fine with just knowing the gist of things:
Hope it satisfied. 😬
Thanks to Patricia, Sedell's plan of using the treasurer failed. Based on the events that happen, and especially after the Archduke went to that party with Gillian, I think he knows the Archduke's the one foiling his plans, and he's pissed. If I remember right, one of his aides pointed out that the Archduke does have a weakness: Ebony.
He sends a policeman(? guard? patrol officer?) to the estate to speak to Ebony, and she was terrified, but the butler helped calm her down some, and she was able to stand her ground, speak to him, shout at him, and even kick him out. He tried to attack her, but, like, I think it was the butler who stopped him? Point is, he gets stopped and gets kicked out.
I don't know whether it's Sedell who dragged her to court or whether the Archduke and Ebony decided that the best way to nip this new fucked-up plot in the bud was to prove her innocence, but they go to court. Juro even brought out a woman with Ebony's approximate body type and weight and a man with her former husband's to show that there's no way she could've killed him, but I don't think that it convinced the opposing lawyers or the judge that well because Juro and the Archduke seemed worried.
Wasn't sure why, but Jackson, the guy who guarded Raven and who beat that disgusting excuse for a human being who was going to kidnap and rape Gillian, came back in the picture. His shirt was bloody and none of it was his, so he's either just come back from killing the guy or from a different mission. Either way, the Archduke talks to him for a bit and leaves.
As Juro and the Archduke are discussing things, it's revealed that someone did witnessed what'd happened: Ebony's mother-in-law. Ebony had begged for help (non-verbally, it didn't look like she actually said it aloud), and for a second, the mother-in-law even looked like she was going to intervene, but she was too afraid and left.
Unsurprisingly, Ebony's not taking things well, and one night, she meets Juro at the entrance and finds out that the letter they'd sent to the mother-in-law was burned. She's not going to help. Cue very justified distress. She goes to her room (I think it was her room) and to her balcony, and she's trying to calm herself down (it seemed like a calming technique to me?) with the method the Archduke had taught her and wished to see him.
Lo and behold, he showed up on the grounds in front of her balcony.

And then she flashbacks to after they'd given her teacher, Barbara, a proper burial and Patricia came to visit the grave when Patricia warned her not to fall in love. If I remember right, she said something about how it'd weaken her resolve or something like that. Ebony either realizes that she likes the Archduke or realizes that she's starting to/could come to like him.
Hope it satisfied. 😬
