Yeess, finally. Show a bit of political acumen for the readers, love. Show us some of that skill Nika and the others have been bringing up. Please and thank you!
She doesn't want to be a noble or a political tool for marriages, but that doesn't really forbid her from actually being a politician, although she can only be one with her visitors
@pokefairy oddly enough if she had been the villainess her plan would have worked flawlessly and she'd be going about her life with no interference.
This entire plot is happening because she's the heroine. So killing the main route the way she did just opened up all the other routes and they're all converging on her.
@FStubbs I know, it's just that she isn't a main character. Yeah, the routes have opened up for her, but arguably that might've happened even if she'd been the villainess, as it does in so many other otoge isekai. My problem is how competent and trained she is to be queen. That's not what the main character of an otoge is. The main character is a clumsy, cutesy, commoner. This girl was a noble, and seems too competent to have been a main character to begin with.
@pokefairy ... maybe. They've hinted that there's something special about her that she's not personally aware of herself. Other than the fact that she's gorgeous we don't really know what that could be just yet. Remember, to her "Lady Rose" was just an act and in her mind she's just a bit above average. And go back to the beginning of chapter 1. That's the real her, cutesy and rolling on the ground happy.
I don't think they would have opened up if she were a villainess because she purposely went for the destruction end. These manga where the villainesses are getting action are ones where the girl is openly trying to dodge her destruction end.
