@Tarage Quick but detailed recap before next chapter. Hijikata's Security Group lead by Gen may (obvious foreshadowing) or may not (the obvious foreshadowing is a red herring) be pulling the strings behind the scenes to get Zombist with most of the living Dokkaku soldiers and Houzan to fight our mysterious Mexican jungle guerrilla paramilitary group, Metzabok. Metzabok has kidnapped Makura who still believes to be in the services of the now recently deceased Professor Godan, and the two Dokkaku soldiers that were away on a mercenary mission while Zombist was still a part of the Hijikata group which has since fallen out from. Metzabok in the front car of the convoy being taken somewhere unexpected, Makura and the other two Dokkaku soldiers behind them, and a deployment from Zombist brings up the rear of the road vehicles until the armored car is taken out in spectacular style and Vajra catapults out the back of the crashing vehicle to fight the Metzabok ambush. Meanwhile Tigi Tigil from New Guinea is in pursuit on kind of foot by literally car hopping. Our hero, Mikado Shuhei, is riding a safe dangling from a C-130 helicopter that Houzan is riding in to somewhere. So right now: Vajra fighting the Metzabok ambush, Makura kidnapped, Tigi Tigil chasing, Maya cooking at the Zombist camp, Gen playing litanies and maybe pulling strings, Houzan flying a helicopter somewhere, and MC dangling from the helicopter. When I read the raws I didn't really like Houzan but he's more and more kickass by the chapter

The random comedic moments really make this unique, even though it is also a little forced. Still, seeing a human-tiger hybrid with four tits is pretty nice, so I am not complaining.
