I think that the Aechmea/Cairn stuff works. He retrieved her arm way back and found a being contained within another, unable to escape or have any autonomy while still being cognizant of the outer world. As the appointed ruler of lunarians with the goal of attaining enlightenment or "freedom" but failing to achieve or make any meaningful steps toward that goal for so long, it must've been a nice break to finally be able to grant some kind of freedom to something so similar. Even if it is part of a greater plan I think it's pretty admirable.

This is the first definitive suspicion that I've actually got from Achmea. Before, his goals and method were strange but very clearly defined. He wants him and his people put to rest. It genuinely did seem like the Caringorm business was coincidence and he did just fall in love with her (I guess "her" is correct at this point). At least my scepticism wasn't as bad as the other people here.

However, if that were the case, why would he keep her arm for 102 years? Especially when all the lunarians are eager to grind them up. It finally makes me feel that he does have some sort of sinister plan or at least a different method to achieving his goal than we thought. Admittedly, we do see that he still had a couple of fragments of Antarcticite when Phos showed up but even then it wasn't much.
The opposite for me. It kinda confirms his goodwill. He's creepy and very sus, but I feel that's the Author's goal. You've probably already found out anyway if you completed the manga. As of my writing now, I'm still at this chapter

@ A-Tan

The thing is almost all now understand that Lunar People didn't aim to kill for the sake of killing. Their main target is become nothingness, n the key is Adamie (plus Lunar People promised to bring back the shattered gem). Thats why even the spiteful grudgeful lunar people maniac Alexandrite decided to help in fighting her family.

I still think at the beginning that Lunar People is not bad people (I hope I'm not wrong). That's why I can accept n make sense what Prince have done n wanna do...

But, now the ball is on Phos... on how to decide the life of 3 races: Gem, Lunar People, n The Snail Kingdom
Exactly this. If we're to be mad at anyone it's Adamant for continuing this even though he knew, but even then he isn't fully to blame. Ughhhh, this storyyyyy, I swear
