"Last edited _ mins ago by" message appearing before 3-5 minutes have passed

I've noticed that the "Last edited _ mins ago by" message has appeared for a user before 3-5 minutes have passed.

In the same comment section, I was able to edit my comment 5 or 6 times within the first 3 minutes of its post, and the "Last edited _ mins ago by" message didn't appear. I think there is a bug for some users.

Edit: Edit at 6 minutes past posting for an example of how it should be.

Edit: Edit for the sake of clarifying the current bug:

The "Last edited _ mins ago by" message appears after 6 minutes for a user viewing their own post, but the "Last edited _ mins ago by" message appears for all other users (other than yourself) at any point a message is edited by you regardless of whether it has been edited within the 6 minute window or not.

This is intentional. It has been added to allow people to fix spelling and grammar errors without it showing that. I personally think 3 minutes is a bit long for it, but that is the length they have chosen.
