Kind of, but the social dynamic of "higher-count people being superior" is kind of integral to the whole premise of Plunderer.

Higher-level people are usually not automatically in a better social standing than others in these types of stories.
Usually, you also need rare skills too or to be born a noble, and it's not to the same extreme most of the time.
But yeah, levelling up by just walking is indeed a pretty rare troupe.

ik it's a common trope, but why tf do all those kings have to be egoistical, selfisch and unreasonable assholes....the least you could do for him is to take care of him (and i dont mean in that way to throw some chumpchange at him and then kick him out) if even only for the reason that you kidnapped him.
