This is why I don't like Seven Seas Entertainment. They have some good manga, but I've seen the English scanlations of several series that they now license disappear.

No more scanlation, so you either get them through another manga site or the english publisher. Unfortunately it will take probably 1 more year before is done. Next volume is in October, then December and then....April.

That has no relation to MangaDex. It's possible the chapters were taken down by the scan group out of respect for the fact that it's licensed, or that the group got banned for some reason (e.g. linking to aggregator sites that steal scanlations or something), but being licensed in english has never prevented scans from being allowed on MangaDex (except in certain cases where publishers have directly threatened MangaDex regarding specific, highly-popular series). The only thing that's not allowed is uploading the official translation that's been licensed (i.e. no Seven Seas rips).

However, scanlation groups oftentimes choose to discontinue work on a series once it gets licensed, out of respect for the original creators. They don't usually pull their existing translations from the site, though, so that's probably not what happened here (though it's still a possibility).
