In English, there's also the word "urine." Actually, just like in my native language, Portuguese, but in Portuguese, it’s urina, with an "a" instead of an "e" at the end. But I think we can cut it some slack here. Although this monster is smarter than an animal, it still has traits of a boar. If you kill a mother dog in front of her puppies, then later call them in a gentle way, they’ll eventually accept you and forget what happened after a while. I don’t know if it would work the same way with boars, though, since a boar is a wild animal and doesn’t have in its DNA the instinct to be friendly with humans like dogs do.

That's a giant stretch, you'd have a much better argument just saying that sacred beasts are friendly to humans, and it's just that it wasn't infected by whatever drove the parents crazy.
