@nobaka Iino is EASILY the most controversial character in that series lmfao. She might be "popular" by virtue of pure numbers but that's because Kaguya is a very big series, so every character is "popular." Percentage-wise I'd be amazed if she was anything but dead last among the main cast.

uh, yeah. But the fact that she has those numbers still means people like her, regardless of the ratios. If she was unlikeable, even with a huge number of poll answers, her numbers would be super low, not just low in comparison.

besides, iino was introduced partly to develop ishigami, who IS quite popular

@nobaka people don't only like likable characters, since likable to me is different from likable to you. As well, when people see a side girl and a side boy in a romcom, they are subconsciously inclined to pair them even if it's terrible (which IshigamixIino absolutely would be, for both parties).

Recent chapters feel like Aka is trying to set them up as a second version of Kaguya and Prez, but unlike Kaguya, Iino isn't sympathetic in the slightest, she's just a bitter moron.

When I opened this comment section, I wasn't expecting to find a discussion about Iino. It's not the place for me to talk about her. But, about Nona the new girl in the adventures of our dear Evans: I like her. The snarky side character with a better understanding of the situation than the main cast is kind of a favorite for me. I think it helps that I didn't got a bad impression of her in her first chapter. It's also nice to see someone who doesn't fall for Evans's bullshit.

That aside, this chapter and the whole poster thing made me realised how much Oakley can be like Evans. They're really made for each others!

Can't speak for the rest of you, but my first impression of Nona was pretty bad. I don't mind that she's sharp, or that she's mute, but I hate how she laughs at everyone. It's a jerk move to do that, especially when Evans and Oakley are regularly risking their lives to keep the lands safe. Sure, their motives aren't exactly pure, but did Evans' desire to get laid mean that him stopping that horse thief was nothing? They're doing real deeds here, and she's laughing at them because they're awkward. So what? They're doing more than you, mute miss who's doodling on wanted posters.

@jonsmth The former will make posting wanted posters moot. No unscrupulous organization wants that kind of attention when there are easier ways of passing information in underground groups. The latter is just too unplausible. It's betting on the off chance that someone does not know of the fame of the fastest gunslinger on the town he works in specifically.

I know that this is comedy primarily but the hook this time is just too contrived.
