The series has 57 chapters, the manga is complete as of Jan. 2017. Just takes a while for translations because it's just 2 (3?) people doing it.

If it can make them immortal idk why they thought it couldn't stop this. It obviously has no problem with interfering to make the predictions come true. Although making the prediction fail is a good idea in theory.
