Something I find interesting is actually how it doesn't feel like the Succubus culture as a whole understand why rape is bad. Like they understand that it IS bad. But not really why. Even the teacher spoke more about humans not liking it than the moral implications of it. Probably because theres a cultural level of skinship and intimacy in that community that rape is seen as more of a faux pas.

Think of it like assimilating into a culture where eating fruit is seen as an irredeemable sin. You understand that they're offended by that act but from your perspective its always gonna seem like a weird overreaction for something completely normal.

So not only do we get a shit apology that shows she doesn't understand the gravity of her actions or the harm she caused, he doesn't seem to care either, we're probably supposed to sympathize with her and view her as redeemed, and now it might even be turning into a harem. Fucking wonderful.

Rinka needs to apologise as well and let it be known what she did wasn't right either. I think he's finding out the cause and why she did that so I think they level of vulnerability is nice, even though her past action was horrible

Not really getting on why ppl are pissed.

a) It's not real life, it's a manga

b) Not even a reflection of a real life, it got Succubi in it

c) More likely since it's different than irl, it has different mindset, perspectives, culture, etc.

d) Succubi and SA, in theory, should've been a stigma that the succubi have been suffered. Just as much as some POC have been blanketed by stigmas for a long time

e) Most likely, Rinka is gonna be a wingman for Katou. But hell, if the author wants to go the other way, it's a whatever really. It's gonna be a 5/10 but hey, not everything has to be 10/10 or even 8/10.

f) It's a fucking manga ffs. A mere fictional story. If not liking it, there's tons of more stories out there. Who cares...

Yeah it's out of control the amount of people connecting this to real life and judging the author based on how severe her punishment is.

This is a fictional world not real life, though there is plenty of injustice in real life too😮‍💨
