Wonder if the author ever addresses Garm's massive man-crush.

Can other white mages duplicate his flying heal? If not then why not? If they can then why hasn't it caught on?

No. if u heal monster, they will recover some hp. that why mithril said, it will be disaster to get his heal on monster, not his teammate.
@Rayster
the god monitor system just show up random. but, if i am right, the monitor system will show up from middle-clan rank up to high-clan.
because mithril-clan sometimes show up, and MC saw them on monitory.
Guild and Solit company have great influence. 50-50, so if solit company publish those newspaper, people gonna believe it.
the guild didnt defend MC make it worse for MC

@anakskul ,
Thanks for your explanation. It's odd to see that MC's party is overlooked by the Monitor system though given that they managed to reach Mithril's level in a short period of time using unconventional strategy successfully. I thought it'd be would have been already broadcasted by the time they were fighting the crab boss. For the influence, since Solit is only 50% and wasn't Kamiyu introduced herself as the guild leader? With Kamiyu as the leader, being influential and strong, decided to join MC would have been a clear sign that on behalf of the guild she's on MC's side, isn't it? With that said, at most there would only be 50% of the people believe the defamation article but it'd still be overreacting and blind judgments without any proof or testament from any of the supposedly-victims (Amy and Garm)... Like sure perhaps a lot of the characters could be meathead adventurers so they'd believe it, but supposedly there are also intelligent/smart characters like sorcerers or alchemists and so there should have many people just find the whole thing really doesn't add up and the whole defamation would have been debunked on its own after a day or two. I mean, even in public Amy/Garm/Kamiyu/Mithril's party apparently interacted with MC without looking like they were blackmailed/threatened and people could have just talked to any of them. Not to mention, if Amy/Garm/Kamiyu are at least popular enough, which they should be given that they have fans and being in an influential position, they'd have some friends/comrades that would come to help them and confront MC when they first heard about the rumors/articles but none of that happened.
Oh well, I'll just take it as a possible plothole and move on...

I remember back in old EQ I wasn't paying attention and was spam healing the monster and not the tank. Serious blunder their since it took about 20 minutes to get full mana with the best mana regen buff at the time!
You cant do that (heal) or this anymore to mobs, but back then you could also equip monsters with gear! I use to ask mages to summon me plate armor and weapon just to give to level 1 mobs and watch people get slaughtered! You lost hours of experience when you died. Good times...

sorry for late reply

Yes, but she didnt know the circumstance about MC party ( Amy & Garm ) she only know solit want to interview his party but she knew they priority is amy and gram

With Kamiyu as the leader, being influential and strong, decided to join MC would have been a clear sign that on behalf of the guild she's on MC's side, isn't it?
No, because that secret deal, contract save MC from people who use violence. Kamiyu doing this to know the detail, is really amy get blackmail or it just hoax.

You are new resident at new york, newspaper there say "you are criminal, blackmail housewife and affair etc"
Do you think people will believe you? or they believe newspaper who hold 50% influence at there?
Remember there are people who didnt like MC like ch2, where those three scum leak his status (white mage, stats C,D,D-,C-,D+) make MC like rubbish, but get godly weapon from treasure box
thats why people call him Lucky boy, accept what mage say about him "Lucky Boy"

Oh don't be sorry, you're not obliged to reply immediately or even at all, but that's polite and kind of you to feel that way and share your insights, so thank you! :)

Erm... my question was actually that if Solit is 50% and Kamiyu is 50%, Solit is accusing MC of the bad things while Kamiyu has joined MC's party to clear his name (to be elaborated in my next reply to your reply), if 100% of public people would definitely react and they would react based on Solit's and Kamiyu's stance accordingly, wouldn't it be at least some amount of people (which would have been more than what was shown) who believe Kamiyu would decide to at least stay neutral and observe for the time being?

With Kamiyu as the leader, being influential and strong, decided to join MC would have been a clear sign that on behalf of the guild she's on MC's side, isn't it?

Erm... ch11pg7 Kamiyu already stated that she verified with Amy and was brought to attention about MC's innocence, acknowledged that it's forgery, apologized and decided to take full responsibility to help MC clearing his name while the amendment negotiations with Solit is ongoing. This means that Kamiyu already believed Amy, Garm and MC, and she joined MC's party to the dungeon with personal interests in MC and the motivation to take full responsibility in helping MC to clear his name.
Secret deal or not, what I meant was that since Kamiyu was already publicly seen that she has joined MC's party and she's on good terms with MC, like ch11pg15, ch14pg21 and ch15pg23, if Kamiyu is regarded as the 50% influential credible guild leader, wouldn't people who have some trust in Kamiyu at least doubt the allegation after they witnessed Kamiyu together with MC+Garm on good terms with each other? Because if Kamiyu believe the allegation and not MC, as the guild leader and superior of Amy and Garm, she wouldn't behave like she's on good terms with MC especially not in public.

Anyway, I understand your explanations and they make sense to some degree, especially if it's set in a presumably less civilized society in the fictional world, but I guess it's just so unconvincing because it's very much based on an one-sided allegation and public opinions without solid evidence or testimony from the victims (either Amy or Garm) + dramatized public reactions to a nobody (I feel that most people would be observing or indifferent to the case, but in the story even the store owner said *every* adventurer she came across believe the allegation on ch12pg23) + low social status of white mages which would make them not threatening (which is why I feel public reactions are dramatized because rationally people would think about how did a weak white mage manage to blackmail a strong fighter in the first place, doubt it and then decide to observe further, like how Garm questioned the assumption of MC had a way to blackmail Amy on ch12pg23), especially if they actually have the means and intentions to verify. With that said, perhaps it just is what it is, without proper protocols like what we have in modern society, I guess most people in that fictional society would behave like how people in the past that got emotionally manipulated to carry out the witch hunt, and also maybe their societal structure probably has a different system that basically only prioritize and worship strong/powerful people, which makes MC with a low social standing basically stripped of most rights and credibility.

Kamiyu join MC party doesnt make the problem solved. 50-50 mean people will believe, other wont believe. instead 2 choice, they going to 3. bewilderment, they cant make any move to MC again. They accept bad comment, and good comment. because no one can give them clear answer.

Kamiyu believe in what amy say, but thats doesnt make she believe everything what she said. that why she join, to prove what amy say. after join MC party, kamiyu too believe MC innocent, she find MC interesting.
In ch 14, you see leader "Silver Beast" reaction about MC right? He heard the article, believe it, but asking himself, is it true? because they are confuse about the situation. They heard bad info about MC, but looking MC party with your own eyes, they cant believe it.
Amy+Garm on good terms with MC too, but how we can tell if they good terms? we are just outsider. you need to hangout with them maybe.

Yes. In the past, HighRank/Nobles/Powerful-House can accuse someone low social standing with just verbal alone. police? justice? None.
