In many ways I think she is panicking and lashing out because she feels her agency and choices have been taken all away from her. She had a plan, a plan to escape or at leas seperate herself from the plot and now it likely feels to her that everything around her is taking away her choices or ability to move. So she lashes out at the thing or person she sees as the biggest cause of her lack of agency, the ML.
Even if she does like him she will reject it because she will see that as just another way everything she does is just going along with his plan and therefore not her own choice. Yes it is annoying but I can see some reason as to why she is rejecting anything, what is more annoying for me is how they are constantly interrupted and therefore are constantly reacting to things rather than being proactive or being given the chance to settle their thoughts.
