That was very well done.

It was pretty much a given that someone connected to the "secret base" was going to crop up in the story, and likely in her class (though I expected Tecchan instead of Ooya), but the way it was handled was very interesting and unusual and really added to the odd sort of wistful mystery in this manga.

This is good stuff.
