Loading time is really lengthy

If I'm at home, then everything works fine, at least on my laptop. My phone and tablet takes longer to load sometimes.

If I'm at work, it can take a minute to load one or a few pages.

the site is practically unusable right now
in the time it takes a single page to load I can copy paste the series name into google, find a site that rips it, and open that up, and read the entire chapter
used to just be slow at night when everyone jumped on before bed, but now it's at all times of day
and when it's not slow it's just flat out failing to load and I have to refresh and start the whole process over

I'm experiencing similar issues. As I opened the forums for the first thing and looked around for this thread a whole two pages have loaded.

The Quarantine is making everyone have free time. I am normally at home anyways as a NEET, so this just makes it super slow for me.

The pattern I run into is that new chapters (regardless of series) load perfectly fine. However, if I try to read any chapter (again, regardless of series) more than a month old, it takes several minutes to load each single page, and in addition always has a chance of failing to load. This pattern is consistent through all times of day.

As a result reading older chapters takes an absurd amount of time, which of course makes it impossible to pick up and start reading series that have been running for a while. This only started to be an issue for me around a month ago. It’s not a major issue, but it’s certainly frustrating.

I figured that loading all images at once, reading longstrip style, rather than loading each page individually is more feasible. Just have to wait like 20-30 seconds to load the whole chapter. Works for mobile. You can change this in the settings.

No matter if its in longstrip, singlepage, or doublepage, it'll load slow.
I've had this issue only happen on manga thats old, with any newer manga loading completely in less than a minute.

old chapters arent in cache. so they have to be fetched.

I'm using data saver right now, the loading times are pretty good even for old chapters.

The load times right now are so bad I just gave up trying to read anything.
