Looking for Irredeemable / scummy MC who's actually a good person

I really like stories where the MC isn't a virtuous human being whether that's because of circumstances or his nature; I want to read a story where the MC is not a decent human at all but his true feelings are to help other people. I know this is kind of an overly specific request but I especially like MCs who start off as irredeemable but show immense development so that we feel invested in his story.
Good manga I've read that fit this description:
Onani Master Kurosawa
Great Teacher Onizuka
Tomodachi Game
Mushoku Tensei
All these manga have an imperfect MC who hasn't lived virtuously and has done morally and ethically disgusting things yet he tries to change and live an earnest life. Although all of these works are very different they do fit what I'm looking for
