If you're OK with manhua, then Mercenary Enrollment and God of Blackfield are directly in scope. I haven't really kept up with them so I can say how good they are.

I know of at least one fantasy school-based story where the kid was enrolled as an instructor (I think...as a cover story to guard FMC), but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I will add later if I recall.
