There's a chance that Aki will end up being Koharu's final test if the love bullet doesn't work this time around and the arc ends up being more of a way for Koharu to get some closure on her traumatic death. Narratively, Aki could work as either Koharu's introductory boss or her final boss, but it'd be hard to believe that Koharu would be okay with waiting around before meddling in Aki's business as a Cupid.

Being able to appear as a human and interact with them kinda defeats the whole point of the previous buildup... I'm really disappointed with this so far, the idea is good but the execution is a letdown.

So they can interact with humans! Just like that instance when a stranger ends up being an “angel” in your life, helping you out in some way, and then you never see them again.

You don’t know where they are from, most times you don’t even get a name, and then they are gone as fast as they showed up. But in this case these strangers are doing it in purpose…

the pilot chapter did have them actually eating at the restaurant so i assumed they can get basic things like food if they didn't just like steal it or brought their own lol

it would be interesting if they somehow ended up together but depending on how the story goes i'd expect her to 'move on' and them introducing another round of angels or so in an anthology like way or just giving backstories to everyone else after but i imagine more ppl are invested in koharu now

I’m still betting on glasses cupid showing up as backup and randomly throwing a flying kick Chiyo. They are ✨rivals✨, even if the prospect of them being previous partners is too fun I’d assume the last 2 additions to the squad were random (Chiyo is battle hungry, the other we’ve yet to see).

i think the instant Koharu unhides her wings the humans will forget their interaction with her but its just a guess ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯

I love the art and the premise of this series but if it keeps up with the heart wrenching backstories after this arc I might have to drop it

I'm here to agree with this, the pacing is also awful, this is a monthly and we only just reached the "half" of the first arc and that took half a year lol, all because the author wants to make a battle shounen out of a concept that the battle itself isn't the goal
