chiyo's the main antagonist rn, which is really weird bc there is zero reason for her to be doing what she's doing...inee better be cooking some michelin star backstory

I would have preferred the targets and partners to be strictly women tbh
I could understand that, but honestly I appreciate the variety. I don't think we're spending any more time on the targets for this chapter so it's just nice to see cute couples, period.

Also, I feel like Chiyo is just mentoring Koharu in another way. She trained Koharu on proper shooting form, taught her the reality of pain that Cupids have to go through, AND taught her the importance of being able to fly.

Of course, the manner in which Chiyo is teaching Koharu these lessons.... Definitely very rough. But from what we know of Chiyo, it's clear that this is her manner of helping Koharu out. Now, the question is: why does Chiyo teach in such a manner?

Kanna has a perfect opportunity to secure her status as the GOAT by just going "no". If you're not on Taskmaster, you shouldn't feel obligated to go along with a bet lost on a technicality that goes against the spirit of said bet.

Do people lose their morals when they know others won't specifically DIE from their actions? Pain is still painful, and even if it 100% wouldn't kill someone I don't know if I could do something to hurt someone badly. Maybe that's just me, but I detect some issues with that cupid.

They're immortal so cupids probably just see violence against each other as cartoon antics. After all you gotta do something to laugh when you're dead.

If I were Kanna, I'd call BS on this one. I know she abused a technicality last time, but Chiyo just straight up cheated. Unless there's some kind of supernatural rule that forces cupids to keep a promise even if the other person tricked them, she and Koharu shouldn't have to keep up their end.

I'm sure this is going to turn out to be Chiyo's version of tough love, but she's just kind of been an asshole so far.

Kanna did the same thing last arc with the grenade in a fistfight. This is just Chiyo's way of getting back at her.
