"Sneaking in" Aren't they invisible for the most part til they reveal themselves? can't keep track of all the lore/my memory is crap lol but i guess blending in as students prolly help
Storywise that makes sense but irl hopefully ppl wouldn't put up with that shit, some of the sweetest ppl i've met have some fucked up upbringings to where one'd wanna personally kill the ppl who'd hurt them lol (we need more friendships where it's like "god may forgive you but i won't" but that's a whole nother convo) that said he is like a teenager while some aren't saintly unrealistically nice, the ones that are jerks are just a dime a dozen asshole as opposed to some extreme bully despite some manga depicting that a lot in stories
That said other than being 'tsundere' for a guy hopefully some ppl can 'improve after falling in love' as opposed to it being some doomed/toxic relationship. (because while there are some 'pushover' types that young, most teens won't put up with boyfriends being shitty for long hopefully) but i imagine she has a crush after seeing some 'hidden' side or so, versus him being some 'hot popular guy that's a bit of a douche' unless she's just a masochist and fine with a 'crappy boyfriend' (of course, not all bad boyfriends/girlfriends are 'abusive' but i can imagine some ppl choosing to date an asshole b/c you know what you're getting into from the start)

Well, i guess they 'allow' bl/gl couples based on the first pilot chapter but i wouldn't be surprised if some 'higher ups' needed some kinda 'quota' of straight couples for population reasons, not that there can't be ppl adopting kids/having surrogates but i imagine stuff like that is harder in Japan

This is kinda unrelated to the chapter itself and probably goes without saying considering how they're introduced in chapter 0, but the four girls all seem to correspond to different aspects of romantic love!
Koharu is obviously a timid and sweet first love, Chiyo is straight up devil may care passion and Ena seems analytical and contemplative, the kind of romance you'd have while planning for the future.
Kanna is harder to get a read on for me, since going off of chapter 0, she's stated to often pair people based on looks and would therefore be physical attraction or something, but her demeanor and the way she treats Koharu makes her seem more like unconditional love to me, or maybe even obsession depending on where this story goes.

Thanks for the translation! There's a whole lot of interesting ways this could go. We've only seen a snapshot of this dude, so its possible he has some hidden facet or depth that's the cause of her crush on him. Of course, she could also just have dogshit taste in men, she wouldn't be the first lol.
Big question for next chapter is what angle Chiyo wants to take with this case. Considering her love of fighting, its possible she's actually cool with the dumbass and wants help setting up the a situation for him to take an interest in the girl. She could also want help getting her a different crush who isn't dogshit, but that story direction might be too simple.
