Agreed. I still remembered back in the elementary that there was a famous trend of boys vs girls. Mainly it was because you'd get thrown under the bus if you happen to make a girl cry, but if a boy's crying, you'll be mocked. Granted, it wasn't in countries like US where bullying acts were reprimanded strictly. God, I hate those girls back in elementary. Some of them even faked crying just to be the victor since we'd have then to apologize. Good times tho.

TLDR: I can relate how elementary school students, mostly at least, won't even think about romance among boy and girl due to many circumstances.
