@So-chan Sure I've have, but the swelling and bruising come after a while so I usually have the leeway of a few hours to do whatever I want. The joint might go numb but it is good enough for frolicking. If it gets really bad, I could always limp or hop on one leg. Dunno, at the very least sprains never bothered me enough to skip PE.
@tblst well, ankle sprains have different severity. If all you did was stretch it a bit(1st grade) then you should be fine, but if you have a partial(2nd grade) or full tear(3rd) you won't and should not go back to any activity right away.
@JesusInStripeZ There's probably better ways to carry her. I'm not very familiar with the methods you'd want to use on children besides the obvious, but there are a bunch of recommended methods for injured adults that offer more stability and such. It'd be a good idea for teachers to learn those just in case.
