Lowfyie's Fabled and Famous Yuri Rating Thread !!

You guys know me, Im the biggest himejoshi currently alive in the forums (I killed the competition), so who better to make a yuri rating thread than me

The ratings will be done by three parameters:

My overall rating of the manga/manhwa, from 1/10, where 6 is a passing grade, meaning its not specially special but it ain't bad

The depression scale (suggested by @Aluminium_Spaghetti) rated from 1/5, 1 being slapstick and 5 being death despair and everything unfair

The yuri scale, going from 0/3, where 0 is "someone tagged this by mistake they didnt even fucking hold hands" and 3 being "holy shit they are sucking and fucking oh my god".
The in-betweens, 1 and 2, are respectively: "they didnt do much but they did confess" and "kissed and married"

I cant guarantee I will update this everyday, definitely every, like, week, maybe twice a week idk, I rate as I go ykwim

This is most definitely one of the best yuri for beginners, whenever I recommend a newbie some yuri, I start with this one

It lacks needless drama that tends to piss the reader off and instead the character development comes from their personalities and events in their lives clashing with eachother. It sounds dumb when you write it down like this, but in fiction work, that's what you want, and a lot of writers can't really deliver that and rely on out-of-a-sudden events striking the characters and forcing a dillema. This feels really natural.

The characters themselves are all likeable, their personalities vary and I dont think of any of them as one-sided

It's just a sweet story you know?

Okay, then i'll recommend you those yuri, which are some of my favorites, each being two tomes, from the less to the more depressing :

• Shy na Ano Ko ni Natsukaretai (quite cute)
• Ashita mo Mata Yuusha no Tonari
• Mai no Mushigurashi (countryside yuri is a subgenre i like it a lot, on par with Class S, and you should too)

I'm sure you'll rate some stuff i've already read, or even forget, i'm curious of what your opinions will be. For now, you have good taste, "Monthly in the garden with my landlord is very good.

I'll definitely rate these eventually, just for now though, ill say which of these I know of

Pretty sure, but it usually ends with the guy getting beheaded, if not, then he turns into a girl

You could do Girlfriends from Morinaga Milk. I managed to convert a non-weeb roommate into a weeb with that.
Didn't get him into yuri, though.

Quite many, but they are then revealed to be yuribaits and cause interesting reactions in comments, forums and imageboards.

Ramble all you want when its time comes. I can certainly understand why someone would hate it. It's very much filled with what would eventually become quite disliked if not hated tropes in the genre. Bet if I read it now for the first time I'd dislike it/if it was published now, it would be quite disliked.

Definitely. There are a lot of oneshots in there I can see, I dont save many oneshots in my completed section cuz itd make a bit of a clutter...

+ Many of those are still ongoing, I'll refrain from rating ones not yet completed
