Deep resentment/hatred fostered over many years but really the entire plan of integration into the villages society was to reinforce the proof that coexistence was possible in the first place. No, the statement I was providing was to show that you are placing an unreasonable expectation on these humans to have significant foresight on such matters like this. I am stating that yes, what hatred the humans have to these demons and vice versa is stupid in the larger sense of the setting (in a logical sense).

However, take into the fact that generations of wars and destruction has happened between these two species, reasonably with propaganda that reinforces such views of demons, as do demons' view of humans. To expect all of them to SUDDENLY switch sides on the argument just because of ONE family is quite impossible; it has been ROOTED into their society as it is for such views.

So to answer: Yes, it is normal for them IN THE SETTING WITH THE CIRCUMSTANCES THEY ARE IN

My point is that IN THIS SETTING; given consideration from such views: despite the fact that it is a stupid, idiotic and irrational idea that should have never even born to existence, that is their "normal" for them. They have been conditioned as such and reinforced by this notion because they have attacked and loss life and property from THEIR PERSPECTIVE.

That does not mean I even condone such actions, but in the context of this chapter; to expect them of change because of one family IS HARDLY going to do anything. I am not giving a "gotcha", I am giving a reason why expecting humans to have rationality most of the time is a bad idea
