bit spoilery so read at risk

so more or less they settle into the house, and some fox things come by and mess things up for a bit, they are I believe digesting people for power in a gord the knight gets put in it, comes out melting like that one guy from robocop, gets saved by DL, and that's when the triangle comes to its conclusion
demon lord calls her wife 2, because catwoman was wife 1... she had absolutely no idea up to this point. so yea, a resolved love triangle that became a polygamous marriage.
There were 2 foxes, one died horribly due to demon lord, the other became light and darknesses other 'toy'

well we have the mc's perspective here so we havent seen any of his trauma, we have yet to see if theres one. so he can say the shit he says because he is a pretty boi and nobody can say no to his face lmao.
And if he didnt have any cheat, this manga wouldnt have existed or it would have been a subaru story without the return by death and ended as a oneshot or nobody would read that xD

And being an isekai is always that naive human mc from a very peaceful era where deadlines are the only trauma or you are just a singular person thats in a poor location with your trauma is dead parents and not an entire population thats dead. Well your mc standards might fit if mc is from the african continent where there is constant tribal war or in the middle eastern... or someone who grew up n the slums. But looking at mc, he lives in a brighter side of a world without the traumas while living as a merchant.

Go look for dark fantasy genre and not isekai genre, youll find naive MCs everywhere in isekai.

She literally had a dream where she became his Demon Queen.
She's subconsciously afraid of falling in love with him. Of course her whole reasoning about the suffering that the demons under his command brought to the humans is actually a nice point that makes her feel human. But if they get to know each other more, she will probably realise that his style of ruling vastly reduced the amounts of death and suffering for both sides.
@ghostt
But there's no harem? He has his wife Ritsu and kinda is eternally bound to Hiya.

Then again MC can say smiling all that shit just because he has always been an outsider, and inhumanely strong, so in that sense he's being a hypocrite. He even would've been brutally murdered and eaten by his own wife, if he didn't have cheat abilities.

If his family and friends would've been slaughtered and murdered by demons in many generations, and maybe even had his village burned etc., him being traumatized by that war since childhood, and didn't have an easy life with demigod powers, I don't think he would be spouting all those cheesy words with a smile to his ears.
He’s not being a hypocrite. He knows that he’s had strange personal circumstances, and he openly acknowledges it. He knows that this creates a huge blind spot in his understanding of the world, and then goes on to say that’s why he needs Barirossa’s perspective. Maybe you missed the whole point of that conversation. He wants them to get along, sure, but he’s not asking her to just forgive them outright or give up her past and prejudices.

For those wanting to know
MC doesn't make a harem because he wants to stay loyal to his wife, however the demon lord marries both Barrirosa and the demon catgirl

Correction to @Izayoi98 comment
Iluminus is already married to Gozaru, but they did it while she was drunk so she didn't remember, while Barirossa becomes the second wife... And they also have threesomes

@Joonhas so what about it? he is an outsider, he came from a different world. he has his idealism to live with other races from his former world. if what you're seeking for is a story about going around rampaging and forcing your righteousness to others, you better go looking for some Chinese wuxia/xianxia.
btw being an outsider is also making his view more objective, he could see that the both side actually wanted the war to end, peacefully if possible, because the both side have been fed up from that pointless racial war, but someone will always resentful like you and this will then create a perpetual chain of evil instead of ending it with peace and effectively would take much more lives than necessary. You are the one that's a hypocrite instead, what would you like the MC do? slaughter the entire demon race? what's this any different than the MC becoming a demon lord like existence?
or are you just fussing over his smile? then what expression would be appropriate?

Eh, I don’t like that one sided promise in the end. I would have seen growth if she likewise made the same promise that she wouldn’t harm any demons, and if they both would be only allowed to use force in retaliation. As my reader, my experience with this world and the story has so far been that humans are the cause of EVERY problem. So far the only problem caused by demons was when the Brother and weird secretary lady tried to do a coup which was so pointless and overall didn’t matter (well, it made a character I like happier and gave them more freedom so actually a solution?). Other than that’s it’s all been the fault of the shitty kingdom deciding to outsource their problems to uninvolved people (really forcibly summoning someone from another world to save you is so many kinds of wrong. I don’t care who started the war first, the moment you yank someone from their world and upheave their life(lives) to solve your issues YOU ARE THE VILLAIN), throwing away an innocent and uninvolved life (with the hopes they die), and that pathetic hero literally causing every disaster (I’ve commented this before but I swear if that redemption arc is still a thing and he doesn’t just die). I don’t really care about a war I haven’t been introduced to or had exposure in (its just a bunch of faceless people dying. You can tell me kids are starving in Africa, but it doesn’t make the terrible meal you cooked taste any better) and who’s right or wrong in a war is a philosophical debate in of itself (and just in general I think simple terms of “good” and “evil” or “right” and “wrong” are way to blanket and bandages to this complex conversations).

That’s a block of text, but basically an entire chapter of this recurring main character finally seeing how much of a hypocrite she is (will accept the mc’s wife but not demon lord), but still not backing down from her “never harm humans” without even giving in a bit herself (by making a similar promise of not harming demons), is frustrating and feels kinda pointless (like this is character development that should have happened gradually over chapters and a while ago, also it’s not really character development because she’s still falling back on her own bad habits (saying she’ll just tell the mc (I’d rather she’d said that she would die fighting him anyway; it shows conviction) and still being prejudiced towards the demon race (pretty sure she qualifies as the biggest racist of the group (like even the human killing demon soldiers adapt more easily and were more willing to live and work with humans now))).

That said I’m happy for her to finally move past being scared of the demon lord. That running gag (her scared and him overestimating her) was funny for about the first and second time (if that). What I really just wanted was for them to develop a relationship and that to propel her character growth and get rid of her double standards and prejudice (to see the war from both sides and think of demons the same as she does humans), but that was like idk how many chapters ago (and don’t want to think about how many months). With her long it took her character to get to this state, I honestly kinda just hate her now and would be happiest if she got killed of to up the stakes or something (give the demon lord new found conviction to rule and usher in peace).
