I don't think that, when she said what if she's a bad person, she was aligning herself on the level of murderers and rapist. I think it was more of a grey than a black thing, if you catch my drift, otherwise you can't really read this chapter without rolling your eyes and I don't think the author is that stupid.

how can be machida be really aware about people feelings, talking wisely, caring, understand how to give love. while really naive and dense about romantic love

Realistically, she lost her chance to conceive children. She wanted to be a mother. She says she hates children but I find that to be a bold faced lie.

Yeahhhh, it's naive to say there aren't bad people, but...

I think chapters like this can't truly reach at proper nuance of the take of no one is fundamentally evil. Some people do enough evil actions that it stains who they are, and they won't ever change that, but they're still some person.

It's nice to imagine that anyone no matter how bad could in fact return to a decent person. Most people you'll actually meet aren't irredeemable, at least.

Sometimes it really is just perspective to think someone's bad, sometimes it's the right circumstances to get them back on the right path. It's a lovely take to believe in that even if it's not always quite possible.

Ultimately that's what this series is at it's core, love for those around you.
