While it strikes me as being in character, I'm not a big fan of Emma telling Theo that he's automatically suspicious just because he's an adult man with a young girl. At least they know outright he's not her father so he IS suspicious, but even so it's a bit regressive - and he doesn't exactly do himself any favours by saying "no, I didn't kidnap her, I just asked a pre-teen girl to cover up my escape from the police and she agreed totally of her own accord, just ask her, she'll definitely tell you the truth!".
I had to take a moment away from the screen when I read the little notebook which very obviously has "Rinoa" written in it. The number of times I've typed "Rinoa", gone back, and retyped "Linoa", only to find that even the mangaka can't keep the poor girl's name straight...!
