He tore up the fucking Contract?! Are you fucking kidding me? Can this man get any more pathetic?
Yeah, he could have not and spitefully gouged money he didn't need from them. The public shame they faced is more than enough and they learned their lesson. Asses they may be but they still put their lives on the line for others getting heavily injured in the process. Their is nothing to be gained from beating them into the ground, crippling them with debt while they are injured and can't pay it, preventing them from helping in similar events. That level of vindictiveness would be pathetic. Justice isn't just annihilating those who wrong you, its tempered with mercy and forgiveness. You have without question wronged others before, so do you think you deserve to never be given a chance again? That you should lose everything, if your answer is no then your a hypocrite, as you clearly don't follow what you are criticizing.

I thought the author already forgot about the noble girl since I haven't seen her for a very long time and then I realized this is just chapter 17...

Don't know whether which one I should be more worried about.

This isn't about justice or gaining any monetary value from the bet. It's about putting those scum in their place. They're the ones who antagonized the protagonist and led to the bet being made. They're the ones who they themselves admitted that they purposefully gouded on other newbie adventures and have gotten away with it.

When you get back at someone, you go all the fucking way until there's nothing left to be done.

Showing mercy is not only a sign of weakness, but it can very easily be taken advantage of if they were stupid enough to do so.

And no, I have never wronged anyone in my life, so don't assume anything about me.

You most certainly have wronged others at some point in your life, its simply not realistic to think your a perfect saint. And with a lynch mob mentality like yours, yeah its not a assumption, its a certainty. You lack any sense of scale or temperance, escalating way to far.

Love how I stead of trying to argue further you just go for more assumptions

No you fucking idiot, I have never wronged anyone, especially without provocation. I keep to myself and don't bother people. And I will not claim to be perfect in any way.

And best part of fiction? There's no need to hold back, no need to temper anything.

Do you know what wronging someone means? Claiming your not perfect, and claiming you have never wronged anyone are contradicting statements. Hell your insulting me, that's a example or wronging someone right there.
Now as for your fiction statement, are you seriously saying be cause its fiction and possible he needs to be over the top to not be pathetic? Your actually concerning, your indirectly saying your having to hold back your anger irl, and with the context of this conversation your showing a desire to get back at bullies. No games here find help and don't do anything stupid because I'm staring to get school shooter vibes from you.

It may be just 17 chapters... but remember ch 14 alone took more than a year, close to 2 to be fair... ch 1 was released 5 years ago, can't blame anyone for not remembering her or her family... hell I even forgot about that bet they had with the other group...

That's my point lol
This manga takes too long to update and the story barely progresses at all. It has been 5 years since it was released but we've just finished the first arc. That's insane, when you think about it.
