The dagger is probably some kind of suicidal weapon and add to that it being wielded by a slave. Can easily understand his rage, if this turns out to be the case.

Maybe it's not the first time this has happened or maybe his services were used by a lot, even good people, but it still led to all their early graves, as they wielded weapons too powerful for them. Old grumps prolly expected the mc to go "crank this from 11 to 22".

One thing I’ve noticed is Caro is supposed to be this tiny rabbit folk, but the way she was drawn in this chapter makes her look way older…? I don’t know if it’s just me but they elongated her face and gave her grown up proportions. Seems like whoever on the team drew this chapter may have been different, as she had a much rounder face a few chapters ago.

Hmmm..I think it's kinda like once someone's ability reaches a level far above your understanding they seem to look like a newbie even though they are close to being a master.

Hmm...I guess a better way to say it is, if you can see aura/magic/energy and you see nothing from someone so you assume they either don't have any or a very small amount but in reality it's just that there's so much you have to look above what you're use to, to actually see it.

Either way, she made him look like a fool.

She's always had those proportions but she did have (not sure if I'll say "much") more rounded face. Could be artist has gotten better or changed their artstyle but I'll have to go back and re-read to compare. There's still a world of difference between the way she's drawn and the way more mature characters like the guild master is drawn. Even her noble friend still clearly looks older than her.
