Personally I prefer the translation quality and raw quality of this one as this seems to be scans of the volume release. But either one is good as long as no one abandons the scans.

This manga feels like a perpetual prologue. It gives the impression of an epic like e.g. Game Of Thrones but it just never… starts, you know? Was there any highlight that keeps you on the edge of the seat in these 35 chapters?
This manga is just too much „tell“, not enough „show“.

i also get the feeling that there is something big coming in the horizon and that the current situation in the continent is a ticking time bomb, but imo saying it is stuck in a perpetual prologue is like saying that the explosion is the only part that matters.

it's definitely not an action filled series (at least not yet), but the author been developing the characters and the worldbuilding and mainly the themes of living and dealing with differences and otherness, while also hinting said differences will become irreconcilable soon. for now, it feels to me like a slice of life series built on top of a house of cards

For the main character this absolutely is an adventure, and it is for the audience as well. You not liking it doesn't make it not an adventure. An adventure is about exploring new places and cultures, and meeting different kinds of people. That is what's happening and is what's being shown in every chapter. Right now we're still in the library phase of it so the focus is more on fleshing out what's there, but new elements are being regularly introduced.

Idk if this chapter is lifted from the official English translated version or not just based on certain fonts and graphical elements, but more concretely it uses different art from the JP raw images from rawkuma like the mask design below, as well as including the bonus appendix pages in the credits

(I actually got into a lot of hot water for uploading ch4 using officially translated material, so this kind of upload surprises me)
