It's a very popular series, that just came back, and the bigger problem is that they literally shoved it through a machine, they didn't translate anything, just shit out the below minimum viable product as fast as possible to attract eyeballs to their discord.
Far fewer people would have complained if it was actually well done.
Sniping itself is just rude and wasting work, but shitting out AWFUL work is much worse. Sometimes if the group is really just being slow, sniping isn't always bad. If you've got a group sitting on a completed series doing four chapters a year, and someone actually wants to do it, and does it WELL, that's fine. This is the opposite. There's a group that's doing good work, the chapter is new, and the sniper posted garbage just to be first.
