"You guys" is colloquial in actual usage in a way that the vast majority of other nouns are not and most other usable nouns run afoul of the accusatory tilt direct address can pick up — see the issues of tone that arise from saying "you people." Omitting the pronoun in the phrase often reads like a call for attention in a way that isn't appropriate to the usage of "You guys" here.

Baiser brought out Magenta’s true feelings, but the cause of her Dark La Verita form wasn’t addressed so I’m surprised by this development. I wonder if other Magical Girls could achieve something similar if they give into lust or other negative emotions, or if they require at least a bit of magic from a Dark Magical Girl like Baiser.

Baiser's magic plays into it, but remember that the La Verite transformations come from the heart. There is a part, maybe a small part but still a real part, of Magenta that WANTS Fallen Medic.

Each of the Tres Magia girls has their own 'dark' side, just as all the Enormita girls have a 'light' side.

The Shio-chans are all very, very well-blended grey.

Well, there is also the possibility that it actually is a full Corruption caused by the dark magic that infested her, rather than something she wants.
After all, it wasn't just Baiser's dark magic, it was the Ugliest Flower.
That thing really went to the extremes when "Infecting" Magenta.
Honestly, Fallen Medic, even if it was something completely unrelated to Magenta's feelings and just a Corruption of her personality to make it closer to Baiser, would be a relatively harmless consequence considering where it came from.

I was dreading reading this chapter, I was almost sad the manga returned because I knew the first thing that would happen would be addressing this. But now we are done and Fallen Medic is still here. I'm so fucking glad, you have no idea.

I agree with some of the others posters in here. I believe the author wrote themselves into a corner with the whole fallen medic plot. It didn't really go anywhere, didn't really do anything to continue the story, it was just a weird horny detour after we were done with the Shio-chans. During the long hiatus, the author thought long and hard about how to get out of this plotline and basically settled on Baiser coming up with a wacky plan to reset the story. Fallen medic can show up as a gag from now, but whatever is coming next can now happen without her being a worry.
It's not exactly great writing, but at least we are done with it and can move on the greener pastures.

Honestly, I'd argue that post-character development Michiko is probably just as light as Magenta.
