Anyway, am I the only one who feels that this has "we are in the final arc now" energy?

Wouldn't call it final arc, but i might get why you felt that way:

• Its content wil be in volume 14 perhaps. Manga often ends run around volume 15-20.
• Venalita x Sister Giant plot has been first shown a few volumes ago and had the vibe of something big. Besides them, there are no villains currently, so backing to them is bringing alive this huge plot.
• Magical Girl Hunt connects to it officially now. We don't have left any remaining threads for plot.

I strongly believe this next arc is just a sageway to bigger plot that might be final arc, but might be not.

So the switching between "team good" amd "team evil" goes both ways. Holy naked yuri harem, Batman! Reminded me of Quanxi and her gals

But as somebody else commented, the key part of this chapter was the conversation between Utena and Holy. Similar tastes and hobby, but very different views about their favorite magical girl show show ending.

The biggest twist here is Korisu's mom. I didn't even recognize her, and then people wonder about the magical girls' "Clark Kent" effect lol.

Anyway, those missing magical girls don't look right in the head. Likely brainwashed...

Also, bringing up that ex-magical girl out of nowhere seems kinda sus hmmmm. Maybe she'll be relevant? Surprise true villain?

Holy doesn't seem to be far from Utena. While Utena loves magical girls because they fight evil and legit being heroes, Holy is prob the same, but recognizes that if the heroes win and defeats the villains, there will be no more heroes.

So does mean that the victims of the magical girl hunt weren't actually killed, just had their powers stripped like the girl Tres Magia questioned, or got kidnapped for Gigant's nudist colony?

Guess this means we are moving back on to actual story now instead of random “magical girls get caught in random sexy trap of the week” interludes. Part of me is happy since more story is always good but at the same time I would personally be perfectly happy with this staying as Utena’s Magical Girl Sexual Torture Vignette Hour for a thousand more chapters.

I don’t need this to be a deep, dark, twisted mind fuck of a story. I’m perfectly fine with it being light hearted, silly, crack. I mean I’ll read it either way, but I know what I’d prefer.
