Also, the size differences this chapter were something jarring. I didn't realize the magical forms were that different from their normal ones. Def makes since how they aren't found out...

There's also the fact that the "Shio-chans" are all 17 year old highschoolers while all the others (except Korisu) are 14 year old middle school girls.

It's very intriguing and alluring for some reason, I'm usually not into those kind of things but strangely works for her. All those piercings must be a bother.
Wonder how she manages to tie the knot on her shoulder though... probably with magic

Unlike places in the west like America, a child can walk safely in their neighborhood to a conbini (they're always 5 minutes away max) and buy a bento. Japan doesn't have the gun-happy rapey assaulty culture that we do in the west. Neighborhood markets and stores are extremely close by unless you're in an extremely rural area because they don't believe in spreading their stores out miles apart from each other, different zoning laws.

Sucks that so many people read scenes like those in manga often without context. It was supposed to be a scene of loneliness yes, but not "abuse".

I've been kinda worried about Kurisu and whether she actually was an orphan/her mother was living in her imagination only, neglected by her mother or she simply was too busy working and raising a child on her own. Seems like it's "only" the latter so that's good (or well, least bad).
