Chapter 18 should be the first chapter of Volume 4, also coincidentally Volume 3 will be out in JP stores on 8th of April. Should you want to buy the physical tome I recommend going through one of the online intermediaries that can buy it and ship it to where you live (ZenMarket, Buyee etc.)

Certain stores have different bonus items you can get if you are quick enough. You can check them on the KTC page here

Volume 3 is out on April 8th. Next chapter will probably be on break due to volume release

If you want to support the series go to the KimiComi page and give it a follow or buy the latest chapter etc... > https://kimicomi.com/series/b65586cd40f98

Edit: Should probably mention that the link to KTC above is NSFW

Honestly this kinda just means that she did get her "defeat and her punishment", just in the way that ..........is actually befitting, rather than whatever fucked "judgment" she was getting from the Court?

I also have to imagine she'll be coming back. An unrepentant mesugaki like her is too interesting a twist on the 'champion of the meek Magical Girl' concept to use and discard like this.
Though I'm more interested in Prosecutor Chocolat. And where Lemon has gone off to/when & how she'll return.
Really, it feels like the plot could blow wide open any moment now with all the stuff being built up in the background of the MGJS and the nefarious interweavings of monsters and defeated MGs and whatnot. Chiyoko Chocolat will probably factor into this much more than our introduction, as well (a maid MG with throwing knives feels like there's a lot going on under the hood, and will likely have some sort of "inverted characteristic" to her in light of her appearance and rather straightforward introduction).

That said...something that came to mind. Do prosecutors losing to Yuuri count as "being defeated"? I know it's to another MG and not to a monster, but it feels like something that could be brought in later, given we now have clear precedent that not all MGs are a united front (even within the court system, it's in service to a greater ideal, however corrupt and potentially profane'd it may be).

Thanks for the TL.

Wait so did this brat just accidentally found the perfect loophole to get away with defeat for magical girls in this setting? Just undo the transformation right before defeat and you are free to go! You just need a lawyer that can point this out.

I also think she could become a reoccurring character sorta like Miko. Lemon could have been summoned as a witness to Shikimi's actual court case; assuming that is done by an actual court and not the MG court or if there is even a trial at all.

Also, I may have mentioned this, but I think the author gave us some milestones at the end of the first chapter. I feel that all four girls shown at the end there will be the plot relevant ones: Lemon, Shikimi, The Chevalier and Makura. I guessing well sorta come back to Shikimi at some point.

It only works because the monsters she's fighting are lightweights that 'defeat' her by getting her to apologize. And because she's not serious about fighting, she's just playing around.

So she has plenty of time to undo her transformation, plus she isn't really in like a fight or flight mode. Think about it...if you're in a life or death situation, or at least it feels like one, you see the fist/tentacle/other monster appendage flying at your face and you think " Oh shit, gotta undo my transformation now". Doesn't make sense right? Even if intellectually you know it will protect you in court later.

That being said, I'm also certain they're going to get that loophole closed lol.

I guessed it when she was completely naked, but glad they confirmed untransforming yourself is a valid legal defense (although they did fairly close with being forcibly reverted earlier).

Also, no black lie bubbles this chapter, it was kinda surprising. Would have thought it would have occurred around her name, that chocolate was a nickname or something
