I thought it was eluded too that he was one of the bullies, due to the mention of "that incident" (on page five) and the image used of his retaliation.
I suppose, upon rereading, he could just be mentioning the fact that he got mad over the letters signified it to be his weakness?
I mean, it's pulling hairs, guy still deserves nothing akin to sympathy.
The princess is great. Out of eddy, who is obsessed with "protecting" Filimina, Filimina, who never says what she thinks and just tells everybody that everything's okay, and...silver haired curse dude, she actually held the entire situation together. Also, I do feel a bit bad for the bully guy. I mean...this is some greek tragedy level drama.
.... but like.... why did Selvis even fall for 'Suzette'/Fili???
She saved a victim of bullying, who had black hair just like Edi...... whom Selvis used to bully....... idk man just doesnt seem like Selvis woulda been interested in Fili to begin with🤔🤔🤔
The more I read this the more I think the author has some major issues. Both Filimina and Eddy are avoidant, with the FL resigning herself too much to being the victim. Both people somehow always fail to communicate properly and their romantic story literally hinges on drama and tragedy to bring them together. Nevermind the fact that the scar alone from childhood could have been a stable and good enough foundation to keep them connected for a more relatively normal relationship, no, the author deliberately chose to use multiple near-death experiences just for the two to be FORCED to get together. Like, the drama can stay if that's really the plot but the two could stand TOGETHER and face the challenges as equals but nOoo instead, the ML/FL are like being forced by circumstances to BE together.
Honestly, it feels like the author has some major escapist tendencies and resorts to dramatic situations for a solution.
