well it would make things very interesting, imagine if there was a manga where two girls act all nice and cute to a guy, but when he isn't around, they're knocking each others teeth out, and every time he sees them they gradually get more wounds and look more fucked up

A yandere vs yandere manga could be fun to read, and it's not something I've really found anywhere.

For real, and they always go back and forth between every extreme type of yandere.

It's either a shy and sweet fangirl whose just a little too obsessed, or a murderous psycho who probably is just using love as an excuse to kill people.

Is it that hard to imagine someone who genuinely loves someone and is just sick in the head? Why is it either "oh gosh I'm too shy to say I love him, so I'll take photos and steal his trash" or "I will dismember any female within a 50 mile radius of you, and then you as well..!"

Middle ground and balanced attributes, plus some actual character depth would be nice. but I guess that's too much to ask of authors.

my fav yandere character so far is Midou Saki from "Ijousha No Ai", also Yuri Shibasawa from Boy's Abyss

kind of a shame people hated so hard on ijousha no ai tho, i thought it was a really fun and tense read

Huh, I haven't read those, I'll check them out. I haven't really read or watched anything with a good yandere in it lately, so none of them really come to mind... (Also my memory for names sucks, especially names in different languages. )
