Thinking about it again. Maybe reading the books is intended to be. Similarly, how Iruma blurted his secret out to Balam-sensei, it's not as if he wanted to (rationally speaking), but it was an emocional response that he really wanted Balam to know, he was seeking connection about his human background to begin with. Because of his struggle studying he felt out of place in the netherworld and needed reassurance of his belonging.
So other study arc, for Clara it's similar that desire of belonging and feeling understood. Sometimes people do things subconsciously and cry for attention, and their collar chains undoing is evident that she wants them to accept her secrets freely.
Her subconscious might be fighting back her crazed tsundere evil cycle self, because its forced induced, and maybe she wanted to share her secret with them in a fun and loving way like in the room challenges. Clara is so fun! o((>ω< ))o Can't wait next chapter!!!

I'm not entirely sure. The impression of Japanese history lessons from fiction I've seen, seem to be rote memorization without context. I'm sure most people have issues with math classes for the exact reason, they teach the "how" or "what", but not the "why".

Got plenty of thoughts about the structure of education and the influence of culture at large on it.

i love the love trio soooo much and i love that they still call them soulmates. and just speculating, i think her secret is just going to be related to her desire to love both of them forever. and how she will do anything and i mean anything for that to happen. it sounds basic, but i think this is the cause because she wants to shut them away from others. and its kinda an ugly desire to want to be so possessive over your partner.

and i truly believe that at the VERY least, clara and alice definitely have romantic feelings for each other AND iruma. I do believe that iruma loves them dearly, but i'm gonna be honest that I don't actually know if Iruma actually harbors romantic feelings for them both. BUT what's important to establish is that clara and alice are definitely in love with them as a whole. So maybe clara's secret has to do with the fact that she desires them both so much that at her core, she grows immensely possessive of them to an obssessive level.
