honestly I think it is interesting, I think it shows us that the Six Fingers and (at least) Leiji won't be aligned.

Who knows about Razberry (which honestly I had to look up his name, probably would've needed to look up Leiji's if we weren't in his mini arc), maybe the Six Fingers will try to influence one of the Three Great's grandsons, while they want Baal on the Demon World's throne it would not be illogical if they tried getting their hands on one of the current candidates for Demon King, I think it definitely could work in the plot.

We will have to see when we get an arc with focus on Razberry I guess, which I am expecting after this.

I highly doubt Iruma, Beijing or Razberry would bow down to anyone. They're all in their own way greedy, selfish, stubborn etc.

Also when they had dinner with the 13 crowns they argued that they were the only one fit to be DK by listing their accomplishments at their respective schools. There's no way they'd allow Baal to be DK

I STG this author is the best manga author I've ever seen, to the point that they'd rank VERY high on my list of "best media-for-entertainment writers" in general. This one didn't exactly START at that level IMO, but it definitely got there relatively early & has kept it up ever since. I like this arc, it makes Iruma's main rivals (the grandchildren of the other 3 Greats) more appealing instead of simple rivals with only surface-level characterization. From this, definitely Leiji would be a competent demon king if ever. I hope the next arc will be on the other rival, the gambler grandson.
